Integration of Legacy Systems via Events
Disruptive technologies are a constant threat to well-tried technologies and applications. Applications are built over years and represent a certain amount of invest. If a new technology appears, which can do the job better, the invest is not thrown away. But because the job is done better, new companies take over and the business is broken. To avoid that, we need ways to make the invest sustainable on one hand and to integrate the disruptive technologies in an evolutionary way on the other hand. The talk presents a solution to balance out those contradicting requirements using modern architectural approaches like cloud and event-driven designs. It give tips how to sustain invests and to follow modern technologies.
