The Art of Enjoyable Analysis: Finding Your Happy Place in BA

The role of a Business Analyst can be what you make it. With no role entirely alike, BAs can explore and shape our own destiny. In this session Claire and John will explore how the BA journey can be an enjoyable one (for both the BA and our stakeholders).

Claire (a lone BA) and John (Leading a large BA Capability) will be sharing our experience on the factors that BAs can get enjoyment from, and areas/activities that can be made more enjoyable (i.e. learning new techniques). We’ll explore aspects (and some causes) of potentially less enjoyable BA activities, as well as the benefit (such as being more effective, on wellbeing and for personal development) of enjoying your role for the BA, BA teams, stakeholders, projects and our organisations.

The session was presented at the European BA Conference in 2024 and discussed with Oleksandr Moskalyuk who proposed we take part in this event, which we are both very happy to do.
