Biography
I have been a developer for most of my conscious life, starting in times when Gigabytes were still puny little kilobytes and all disks were quite floppy. Over those years, I’ve designed and developed a number of applications ranging from inventory management and POS systems to high-performance web systems and I’ve also been one of the founders and have served as CTO of one of the more prominent Croatian Web agencies in the mid-to-late-2010s.
As a consequence, during my career, I have “played” every role (except that of a UI designer – I’m terrible at that) that there is to play when it comes to designing, developing, and managing mid to large software projects, and had ample opportunities to see and feel firsthand which approaches do work in real life and which do not, and to investigate and learn WHY is that so.
Currently, I am head of the department for Business analysis and functional design in a company named Undabot and I spend most of my working hours designing and managing the delivery of IT projects implemented using iterative and agile methodologies and writing articles and lecturing on related topics.
