Wolfgang Richter, PhD.

Wolfgang Richter has worked in various roles in IT for around 20 years. His career started in 3rd level support. Later he became department manager, division manager, was employed in numerous projects as requirements engineer, software engineer, project manager, program manager, scrum master and product owner. His professional career took him from Europe to the USA, Australia and then back to Europe. Today he is Managing Director of JIPP.IT GmbH in Austria, where he works as an agile coach and trainer in addition to his management activities. He is moderator of the Scrum User Group Graz and is represented in numerous other committees. He knows the traditional and agile world of project management, holds several certificates, has written a dissertation on this topic and is involved in the further development of agile methods. His academic background includes project management, computer science, business administration and psychology.
