The Art of Business Analysis in the Cyber Age
The innovation of the cloud has transformed modern business by allowing organisations to bring their services to market faster than ever before, but it comes at a price. By dispensing with physical infrastructure that the organisation owns and distributing your services around the internet on other people’s infrastructure, it is easy to open your organisation up to unstable pricing, issues with resilience and cybersecurity risks. In this workshop, I will take you on a tour of what this disruption means for us and show you how to master it.
Target Audience (Who is this workshop designed for?)
Business Analysts who work with cloud technologies on application/service development and information security projects.
Detailed Workshop Description (Provide an in-depth explanation of the workshop content)
In this presentation, the speaker will share his experiences from over a decade spent delivering a wide range of cyber-related change including large scale data migrations, building and security mission critical application architecture and developing information security controls. He will take you on a tour of the cloud, explaining what it is and how it has transformed our enterprises from both the front end and behind the scenes.
He will show you the strengths and weaknesses of these ways of working by introducing a series of case studies covering great successes and some disasters that stem from adopting a cyber-first strategy, and show you what lessons you can learn from them.
Finally, he will introduce a methology that he has developed that will help you to better understand how to manage cyber-risk in your projects and improve the effectiveness of your cloud transformation and enablement journey.
