The EU listens… and modifies the digital laws!
Many organisations, both in Europe and the rest of the world, must be compliant with EU laws, like the GDPR, the AI Act, the Data Act and others. Unfortunately, this often requires a lot of effort and significant investments, resulting in stiff resistance.
But the EU is listening. The complaints have been heard, and initiatives are taken.
This initiative is called ‘digital package’, with a ‘digital omnibus’ law as a key element. It should make life easier for both users of AI, as well as European innovators.
Next year (in 2027) there will be new versions of several laws, to make life easier for everyone.
