Vedran Križek

I have been a developer for most of my conscious life, starting in times when Gigabytes were still puny little kilobytes, and all disks were quite floppy. Over those years, I’ve designed and developed many systems ranging from inventory management and POS systems to the largest Croatian classifieds and news portals, and I’ve also been one of the founders and a CTO of one of the more prominent Croatian Web agencies in the early-to-late-2010s.

As a consequence, during my career, I have both the privilege and a curse to “play” every role (except that of a UI designer – I’m terrible at that) that there is to play when it comes to designing, developing, and managing mid to large software projects, and had ample opportunities to see and feel firsthand which approaches do work in real life and which do not, and the main thing that interested me was always the answer to “WHY is that so”.

For the last 10 years, I’ve been mostly focused on the areas of business analysis and product ownership, applying my combined development and management experience and managing the design, scoping, and delivery of mid to large web-based systems.
